What random “lowry” search shall bring…

Andrew Sullivan was over-using the word “lowry” in The Daily Dish a few days ago. Not knowing what a “lowry” was, I asked my good friend google to explain. The 00’s didn’t provide me too-clear an answer, but I found the image search-results to be quite fascinating. Here is the first of a few sets of “lowry” pics I think go well together (and hopefully so, as three are Lawrence Stephen Lowry paintings!).  ¶

I still don’t know what a lowry is supposed to be. The next sets of photos will further prove my reason for confuzzlement.
